Here are some common questions about BackerPlanet Cashback.
How do I redeem my earnings?
All earnings must be redeemed through PayPal.

If you don’t have a PayPal account you will be unable to redeem your earnings at this time.

Who can participate the cash back?
Everyone can participate. You don’t need to be a backer. Simply create an account and get your unique referral link.
What are the rules or prohibitions for getting other people to back a project using my link? (IMPORTANT)
There is one critical rule: No Spamming.

If you send unsolicited emails, or blanket twitter with @ messages to other users, or do anything else that is spam, your account will be permanently revoked.

We expect you to abide by Kickstarter’s and Indiegogo’s terms of service and community guidelines. If you don’t spam, you should be fine. And of course, don’t do anything illegal or unethical.

Is there a minimum balance I need before I can withdraw money?
Cash back earned in excess of $15 can be redeemed in the form of PayPal payment
Can I receive cashback on a project if I didn’t use my link?
Unfortunately you can’t.  To get cashback on any pledges you generate, your link needs to be your unique referral link before the purchase takes place.
Are there any processing fees for withdrawing money?
How long does it take for visitors and pledges to show up in the dashboard?
Visitors and pledges are usually updated once per half hour.
How long do I need to wait to receive those earnings?
Once a campaigns funding period is complete, we send out an invoice to the campaign creator for the efforts raised by Backerplanet community.  The campaigns credit card is charged 21 days after the invoice has been issued, allowing time for them to receive their funds from Kickstarter or Indiegogo.

After a Kickstarter or Indiegogo project is over, there will be some cards that fail to process. We will not be able to cash back those orders or the orders you have cancelled already.

We check this list of failed pledges against any pledges generated from the cashback network. Any pledges you generated that failed to charge will be reduced to $0.  20 days after the campaign ends, we pay once a month, on the 15th (or closest business day) for any account balances of $15 and over.

Why a pledge was made but I don't see it on my dashboard?
By connecting to the Campaigns Google Analytics tracking code, we are able to track clicks, pledges, cancellations and adjustments made through you unique referral links.

If a pledge is made through your unique link, it can take up to half an hour to see it on your dashboard.

If you still can’t see the pledge on your dashboard, it could be for a few different reasons such as:Based on limitations provided by Kickstarter, we are only able to track pledges that occur within the same browser session as the initial click. Different browser and devices define a session differently so the accuracy of all pledges varies depending on the person being referred to the campaign. This limitation is because Kickstarter doesn’t allow campaign owners or third party software to place a tracking pixel or cooking information within the Kickstarter platform.

Google Analytics cannot track the source of conversions when users block cookies. As a result, Google Analytics may report some conversions as direct, rather than attributing them to a referrer.

Currently, it’s not possible to track traffic to your project from the the iOS and Android Kickstarter Mobile app through Google Analytics. Because of the tracking limitations imposed by Kickstarter, almost all mobile conversions are attributed to Kickstarter directly even though they may have come from a variety of different sources.

The backer is using an Ad Blocker that either blocks Google Analytics by default or has been customized to block Google Analytics.
